Sandy Huntsberger has lived most of her life in De Queen and with the desire to serve and help others through her natural talents and abilities. She's been passionate about Interior Design since learning to draw and design her first house plan in a high school Home Economics class. After pursuing a career in the medical field and some unexpected life changing events, she's taken advantage of the opportunity to reinvent herself and return to her first love of designing and planning interiors. She's spent the past 8 years gaining extensive knowledge from Chandler School of Interior Design, Tobi Fairley's Design classes and many other professional design workshops and color courses. She has experience creating such things as simple room floor and space planning, redesigns using existing furnishings, and taking a home all the way down to the bare bones and recreating the entire space in a complete remodel. These examples are only a limited list of what Sandy can do. She guarantees practicality and efficiency as a top priority in every project she does.
Sandy is passionate about approaching every project from the standpoint of her clients' needs. She examines how they need the space to function, the suitability to the existing architecture of the home, and the clients' budgets. Your home is your most important asset and hiring a designer is the wisest, most economical way to save money, avoid costly mistakes and increase the value of your property. She encourages her clients to be content with what they can afford and do as much as possible with what they already have. Sandy's ability to turn projects into easily attainable plans will remove the overwhelming frustrations that tend to paralyze home owners and keep them from accomplishing the goals and dreams they have for their homes. Keeping these beliefs at the forefront of every project ensures you'll never regret the decision to work with her.
She will combine her knowledge of undertones, eye for color, and skill of color coordination with the fixed elements of your home to make the design meet your personal preferences. Her motto is; "When you get it right the first time, there's no need for perpetual, ongoing renovations, redecorating, and moving furniture.... Just replace and upgrade worn items."
